My spring break is coming to a close, but it has been fun. Oddly enough, I haven't really done much art, though. I really planned on it, too. lol I went back and visited my family since I don't get the opportunity very often. It was fun and relaxing since it's way out in the country. I helped plant taters and helped get the garden going.

Also, there's a new member in my household. After visiting a couple animal shelters, my girlfriend and I found the perfect cat for us. And by perfect, I mean needy and whiny. lol She is 9 months old, and her name is Kiki, and she is veeeeery talkative. Every time we come home, she greets us with lots of meowing. She also tries to convince us to nap with her because she hates being alone. lol However, she's not the only pet around. We also have our mouse, Cookie. And believe me, Kiki would love to eat her like a cookie. We had to move the cage up high, but Kiki still spends several hours a day just staring at the cage, whether or not she can even see the mouse. lol It is hilarious. You would think she would give up on it, but nope.

This is just a small update. School is suuuper hectic with writing artist statements, bios, etc. Basically, I'm stressed with all the shitty things that you need for a gallery. D: Aaaaaand, there's that small problem of having to finish work for the show. Eheheh. ^^; I just haven't been too motivated.

School has come, but so has my birthday. Yesterday, I turned 22. Wow. So oooold. =A= I didn't do much, but it was a pretty good day, anyhow. I went to a reception for an art competition I entered and found that I won first place! That was a very nice little gift as I scored some cash and prizes as well as a title. It could have been a bad thing on my birthday, had I lost. XD Also, Lunar New Year passed last week. I went to a festival at my University and celebrated with friends.

Aside from all that, I have been painting like mad. I can't believe I'm staying true to doing my work. XD I have to get enough work done for my gallery at the end of the semester.

On a side note, I ordered the Skyward Sword posters from Club NIntendo a while ago, but one has a flaw. Turns out it was a production error, and they are going to send me a new one that is right. Sooo, basically I have two awesome posters, and the mistakes always seem to make things worth more. XD

Wow, so this has been a hectic week. It's my winter break, but I still seem to find myself quite busy. I went back to my parents' house for the holidays. I did get to play some games with them, but I worked most of the time I was there. My mom is somewhat handicapped, and I came back to help her clean out the house a bit. Well, actually, a LOT. lol I'm glad to help, though. I realize she needs it, and it eases some of the stress on my dad. I hope everybody else had a good holiday. I got some very nice gifts from friends and family, including Mario Kart, an LoZ 3DS, a Yoko figure, and gift cards.

Oh and I ordered the LoZ posters from club nintendo, and they came in the other day. OvO They are amazing! :iconexcitedplz: I just gotta get frames for them! Also, I watched Tiger and Bunny, finally. It's pretty much awesome. :D For such a long time, I thought it was maybe a yaoi because of all the fanart. lmao Tiger is really badass!

Firstly, the generous :icontahopaints: gave me a 1-year subscription! I'm a pretty excited. I've only had the trial version before. I really appreciate it. :iconmuahplz: Feel free to spam my shoutbox.

Well, Skyward Sword was amazing! I reeeeally loved the character development. It really made the game. Even the side characters were so likeable. The bright colors and designs were nice, too. After finishing it, I decided I needed to play through Twilight Princess again. They're both so very different games, but both very good. I know that someone is giving me a 3DS and Ocarina of Time(3DS version) for the holidays, so I'm holding off on playing that one. I can't decide if I should try to play through Majora's Mask again or not. I'm kind of loving this LoZ hype, but damn...the time limit aaaaaalways annoyed me. D: Link to the Past is always an option, too; it was my first LoZ game. I'm such a lame fanboy. lol Just expect fanart.

This is my finals week. I turned in a final project, today, but otherwise I just have a final painting critique. Thus, I'm spending some time in studio trying to finish up some oil paintings. My senior show is next semester so I have got to get working. lol It feels pretty good to be free of school and work for a bit. Hopefully I can start cranking out some more work on here. :) I've at least gotta get some gift arts done.
